Story: The Doctor, Rose and Jack are separated, becoming contestants in deadly gameshows where only the winner gets out alive. But who is behind it, and why?
Trivia: For ten of the first eleven weeks, Doctor Who had been preceeded by Strictly Dance Fever (with the presenter's voice bleeding through onto the soundtrack in some areas during broadcast of Rose). However, this week the programme was proceeded by Anne Robinson's The Weakest Link, which also featured a question about the host of the UK Big Brother.
As well as contained a 35 second trailer for the next episode, this story acted as a semi-sequel to The Long Game, and began with a 0'51m recap of that particular story.
